The renowned, educational BODIES…The Exhibition showcases real, whole body specimens along with authentic individual organs; some healthy, some diseased. These real human bodies have been meticulously dissected, preserved through an innovative process, and respectfully displayed. BODIES…The Exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to view the beauty and complexity of the human form, from blood vessels to organs to major body systems.
Real human body specimens preserved through
a revolutionary technique
With the polymer preservation process, human tissue is permanently preserved using liquid silicone rubber that is treated and hardened. The end result is a rubberized specimen, preserved to the cellular level, showcasing the complexity of the body’s many bones, muscles, nerves, blood vessels, and organs. The full-body specimens can take over a year to prepare and after undergoing the polymer preservation process, they become impervious to decomposition.
BODIES – The Exhibition is a 30,000-square-foot exhibition which features healthy and diseased specimens highlighting various health maladies. One gallery showcases the eye-opening effects of obesity on the human body, with organs damaged by over-eating and lack of exercise. The Exhibition also juxtaposes a healthy lung and a black lung ravaged by smoking in a vivid comparison that is more powerful than any textbook image. In addition to providing an up-close look inside the skeletal, muscular, respiratory, and circulatory systems, the Exhibition encourages healthy lifestyle choices: It serves as a wake-up call, demonstrating how specific behaviors directly affect health. BODIES…The Exhibition will change the way people see themselves. It is designed to enlighten, empower, fascinate, and inspire.

- Bodies New York is open 7 days a week, from 10am – 7pm Sunday through Thursday and 10am-9pm Friday and Saturday. Last ticket entry is one hour prior to closing.

- To qualify for group booking rates, a minimum of 15 tickets must be purchased
- All Groups must have a confirmed reservation. Group rates are not available for walk-ups
- All group reservations must be confirmed at least two weeks in advance of attendance date
- Confirmed reservations must be secured with advance payment, purchase order or credit card hold
- All children age 2 and under are FREE
- Hand-held Audio Tours are available…add $6/ticket to all Non-Student Group prices and $5/ticket to all Student prices.
- Premier cannot independently verify the provenance of the human remains in this exhibit
